Answer:

Basically, the first page is talking about how Costa Rica is a common tourist location because of how its sunny all year. It's climate is very warm and humid. It's talking about how many people spend time swimming in the ocean. On the other hand, the second page is talking about how snowy it is in Chile. They very cold winters and it rains and snows a lot. Their winters are between June and September, and many people ski and snowboard. Basically, the lecture is comparing the activities in both countries as a result of the different climates.

Which of the following is a reason why plazas are often considered the heart of a town or city?
tatiyna
This is a rather subjective question, as it will depend largely on the type of plaza and the particular town it is based in. The best answer, however, is probably that a plaza is likely to be considered the heart of a town or city because they promote the local culture or tradition through arts and crafts. This is certainly true in Spanish-speaking countries, anyway, as the word plaza may have a slightly different meaning elsewhere.

1. Julieta y César / ser / paramédicos 2. trabajar / juntos y / llevarse / muy bien 3. cuando / haber / accidente, / siempre / a
choli [55]

Answer:

1. Julieta y César SON paramédicos

2. TRABAJAN juntos y SE LLEVAN muy bien

3. Cuando HAY un accidente, siempre ANALIZAN la situación con cuidado

4. SE PREOCUPAN mucho por los pacientes

5. Si el paciente TIENE mucho dolor le PONEN una inyección.

Explanation:

In Spanish it is necessary that the subject and the conjugated verb that form a sentence match with each other; it could be synthesized in the following rules:

1. If the subject is plural, then the verb must be conjugated in plural form.

2. If the subject is singular, then the verb must be conjugated in singular form.

We also need to remember that in Spanish the verb form changes according to the time we want to express, the basic ones are:

 • Presente: It is happening right now
 • Pasado: It already ended
 • Futuro: It will be happening
 • Copretérito: Something that was happening while another thing happened
 • Pospretérito: Actions that would be happening in past.

In our exercise, we have to CONJUGATE the verb that has been presented to us in the infinitive form (remember: infinitives, gerunds and participles are not conjugated forms of the verb), here there are our answers in present, you can change them to another tense if necessary:

1. Julieta y César SON paramédicos

2. TRABAJAN juntos y SE LLEVAN muy bien

3. Cuando HAY un accidente, siempre ANALIZAN la situación con cuidado

4. SE PREOCUPAN mucho por los pacientes

5. Si el paciente TIENE mucho dolor le PONEN una inyección.

Olin [163]

Answer:

También debemos elegir cómo transmitir el tema al lector. En un momento, trabajaremos a través de tres tipos de narración: primera persona, segunda persona y tercera persona. Cada uno tiene su propio propósito. Pero, antes de que disfrutemos de algunos ejemplos de narración, es importante distinguir entre narración y narración.
