irga5000 [103]

Answer:

The speaker (Shakespeare) in the sonnet praises his beloved by comparing his beloved to a “summer’s day is explained below in details.

Explanation:

Sonnet 18 is complicated and, at one level, it is as explained in the statement preceding. The nature of its opportunity quatrain is, admittedly, positive but, correspondingly disappointed by the restrictions of the sonnet custom and tradition and its application of stock comparisons, to display a love which the lover appears to surpass.

The young child, having been warned by her mother, did not go near the hot stove.
LuckyWell [14K]
If the underlined phrase is having been warned by her mother, then this is a nonessential perfect participial phrase.
Nonessential phrases are separated from the rest of the sentence by commas, and since this is a perfect participle, this is the only correct option.

When are in-text citations used in academic writing?
hammer [34]

you have too sight the last name of the author and the page number whether it is a quote or paraphrased. the only time you don't have to is if you include it in the sentence.

Example for when you don't have to cite in text:

On page 13 Martin says, "blah blah bah bluh bleh blah"

... otherwise just put the citation in parentheses after the quote/paraphrase like so: (Martin,13)
