Answer:

Simply speaking, Earthquake means the shaking of the Earth's surface. It is a sudden trembling of the surface of the Earth. Earthquakes certainly are a terrible natural disaster. Furthermore, Earthquakes can cause huge damage to life and property. Some Earthquakes are weak in nature and probably go unnoticed.Earthquakes are caused by sudden tectonic movements in the Earth's crust. ... The stress increases when they stick, relative motion between the plates. This continues until the stress rises and breaks, suddenly allowing sliding over the locked portion of the fault, releasing the stored energy as shock waves.1) Earthquake is the shaking movement of the earth's surface which creates seismic waves. 2) It is a sudden and violent shaking which causes disaster. 3) The shocks we receive in earthquake arise from deep inside the earth. 4) Earthquake can originate at any point of the earth crust and can cause damage. The primary effects of earthquakes are ground shaking, ground rupture, landslides, tsunamis, and liquefaction. Fires are probably the single most important secondary effect of earthquakes.Earthquake sentence example. The city was almost totally destroyed by the great earthquake of 1812. Meanwhile there had been a frightful earthquake in 1822, and a visitation of cholera in the following year.

Which statement best describes the resolution of this story
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

There’s a saying in brain science based on the work of Donald Hebb: neurons that fire together, wire together. The more they fire together, the more they wire together. In essence, you develop psychological resources by having sustained and repeated experiences of them that are turned into durable changes in your brain. You become more grateful, confident, or determined by repeatedly installing experiences of gratitude, confidence, or determination. Similarly, you center yourself increasingly in the Responsive, green zone – with an underlying sense of peace, contentment, and love – by having and internalizing many experiences of safety, satisfaction, and connection.

Read the excerpts from Team Moon and the NASA article.
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

Assuming that Team Moon was the first exceprt, the answer would be the following:

The Team Moon excerpt is more emotional and dramatic than the NASA excerpt.

Explanation:

The correct answer is:

The Team Moon excerpt is more emotional and dramatic than the NASA excerpt.

This is because it contains very dramtic words and phrases, including, "panic-stricken, gut-wrenching, [and] heart-palpitating." This while what I assume is the NASA exceprt is very technical and does not exress any emotion whatsoever.
