The image of the triangle is missing and so i have attached it.

From the image attached, we can find the value of x by using trigonometry ratio.

We see that;

  • AB = x
  • AC = 10
  • ∠BAC = 75°

Thus;

10/x = cos 75

10/x = 0.2588

x = 10/0.2588

x = 38.64 m

Approximating to the nearest tenth gives;

x = 38.6 m
