why do you like this quote? why or why not? “ Be the change you wish to see in the world. -Mahatma Gandhi” Response must be no l
Korvikt [17]

I do like the quote, " Be the change you want to see in the world" -Mahatma Gandhi. This quote makes me feel like he is giving me a task and I have to do it, I must accomplish it. If I do not accomplish it something will go wrong. This quote makes me feel like I should be the person that makes a change. I should make the world a better place, even if no one wants to change the world I should be the one to do it. This quote makes me feel like he is calling me to help him change the world because he can't do it by himself. The smallest change can make the biggest difference.

lubasha [3.4K]

The lines in the poem “Astrophil and Stella” which indicates that the poetic speaker is hopelessly in love are:

1. “And pleas’d with our soft peace, stayed here his flying race.”

2. “Where with most ease and warmth he might employ his art:”

3. “Deceiv’d the quaking boy, who thought from so pure light”

4. “But she most fair, most cold, made him thence take his flight To my close heart, where while some firebrands he did lay,”

5. “He burnt un’wares his wings, and cannot fly away.”

Sir Phillip Sydney wrote the sequence of sonnets “Astrophil and Stella” which has been inspired by his relationship with Lady Penelope. It is a sequence of poems which marks the development of Astrophil's love for Stella. He is deeply in love with Stella and describes her beauty, intelligence, and wisdom in the sonnets.
