Cerebrum is in the most anterior part of our brain, fronting of the skull. It functions in sensory and neural processes. Cerebellum is found at the back of the skull. It functions in coordination, balance and muscular activity. Medulla oblongata connects from the spinal cord which controls heart and lungs. Pons is part of the brainstem which controls breathing and communication.
The table given in the figure below reflects the data being referred to (from the book: Campbell Biology Australian and New Zealand Edition by Reece, et al. (2014)).
The number 22,877 of the gene that encodes the first protein with the protein ID 298599 indicates that the
amount
of the RNA transcript of this gene made in the mycorrhizal
parts of the fungus was 22,877 times higher when they were associated with the Douglas fir compared to those made in soil mycelium away from the root of the plants.
Because DNA contains the genes that instruct the cells in how to build proteins. The genetic codes are the blueprints for each protein, and proteins control all biochemical reactions in the cell (as enzymes) and also form the structure of the cell, which becomes the structure of the entire organism. Without knowing how to build proteins, higher organisms would never have evolved.
There are different types of gram positive bacteria which can cause septic show, however the most common are Staphylococcus aureus and strains of streptococci.
veterinarians and zoologists work with animals in a professional capacity.
Veterinarians primarily provide medical care to animals that are kept as pets or livestock on a farm.
Zoologists are researchers who primarily focus on understanding the relationship between wild animals and other animals or their habitat.
