Answer:

$21.25

Step-by-step explanation:

With these type of questions, I make a list on all the values I need to find.

-shoes

-5 bowling games

-2 nachos

-3 large sodas

Since we now have our list, we need to find how much these all cost using the chart.

Shoe rental is $2.75

1 bowling game is $2.5, so 5 of those would be 5 × 2.5, which is $12.5

1 nacho is $1.75, so 2 of those would be 2 × 1.75, which is $3.5

1 large soda is $1.5, so 3 of those would be 3 × 1.5, which is $4.5

Now, I would add these up, BUT, Jason has a coupon that takes 25% off all drinks and food.

So, we add the values of the food up, which is $3.5 + $4.5, which is $8.

25% is the same value as 1/4.

So, split 8 into 4 equal parts, which is 4 groups of 2. Take one out, (because we are taking away 25%), you are left with 8-2, which is 6.

Now, we have all our final values:

$2.75 + $12.5 + $6

If we add all those up, we will get $21.25

Therefore, Jason spent $21.25 on bowling

Five soccer players each contributed an equal share toward a $50 gift for their coach. Write and solve an algebraic equation to
shtirl [24]
5x = 50
Where x represents the (equal) amount of money each player contributed
As you can see, you can easily solve the equation above to get:
x = 10
Each player contributed $10 toward a $50 gift.

How many positive integers less than 2018 are divisible by at least 3, 11, or 61?
Schach [20]
To find all the positive integers less than 2018 that are divisible by 3, 11, and 61, you will use what you know about factors.

3, 11, and 61 are all answers. So are 33, 183, 671, and 2013.

If you put these in factors, the product will be divisible by them!

3 x 11 = 33
3 x 61 = 183
11 x 61 = 671
3 x 11 x 61 = 2013

Take each number and square it, cube it, etc...
9, 27, 81, 243, 729
121, 1331

9 x 11 = 99
27 x 11 = 297
81 x 11 = 891

121 x 9 =1089
121 x 3 = 363

61 x 9 = 549
61 x 27 = 1647

Everything in bold is a correct answer.

A desk is on sale for $221.40, which is 73% less than the regular price.
olasank [31]
Since it is 73% less we need to do 100-73=27. this means that 27% of the original price is left. so we must devide 221.40 by 27% to find what 1% of original price was = 8.2 . so $8.2 is 1% of original price, therefore the original price is 8.2×100 = $820
