I sat on a bench at the train station while I waited for my train to arrive. As soon as I called and arrived at the window, I recognized my former teacher, who was working at the ticket counter and earning money at the time. After all, I wasn't one of her favorite people to begin with, so I'm surprised she remembers me at all.

When she is selling tickets to customers, there is a noticeable difference in her demeanor from before. I tell her that she was an inspiration for me to pursue a career as a teacher in Hawaii because she was a wonderful person as well as a fantastic teacher. The only thing I'd like is a one-way ticket to the United States to begin my new educational career. I am confident in my ability to be a successful person for many years to come as a result of your patience and expertise. Thank you.
