Answer:

Overcoming stress and pressure may feel difficult but here's some advice on how to relieve yourself. Try to relax and have fun whenever you need to. A break is always necessary for everyone. Bonding with pets and exercising can help you to clear your mind! Don't think you need to do something really quickly, in most cases you pile the pressure upon yourself which can lead to severe health issues. Do something you like. Eg. Drawing, Colouring, Listening to music or anything else that you take an interest in. The most helpful thing you can do is connect with supportive people. Socialising is a huge positive thing you can do. People can support and help you with whatever it is that you are stressed about.

Hope that helps. x

.31 points pls help Write a research-based argumentative essay for or against free education for children worldwide.
Ann [662]
This is agreeing that education should be free for children world wide and heres why.

According to UNESCO, 264 million children do not go to school, and the number is increasing 1 million every year. If Education is free for everyone then every student will get an equal opportunity and they don’t have to worry about anything than their studies. It ought to be free in light of the fact that there are poor who are keen, brainy and competent, yet the state gives no instruction to them. If the state paid for their education, students would have better opportunities, more time to study and more job opportunities.

If student get a free education then there might be many problems and need for colleges to fulfill students needs. Universities would require more dormitories, classrooms, labs and everything else, along these lines making the requirement for gigantic capital uses, which would overwhelm state spending plans. According to Andrew P. Kelly in the article, “The Problem Is That Free College Isn’t Free” he tells that even if student get free education 33% of understudies from the base pay quartile who began at a junior college in 2003 completed a degree or declaration by 2009. Two-year understudies from the best pay quartile didn’t improve (42 percent). He also tells that the way that 60 to 70 percent of junior college understudies need to take no less than one remedial course, as complete 40 percent of those at open four-year establishments. Or then again the way that understudies who go to open four-year universities with lower graduation rates are less inclined to complete than comparable associates who go to better schools. Realistically, people who cannot afford money for their colleges are going to miss their opportunity to make their future life bright. Free education will increase concentration on studies because they don’t have to worry about their other stuffs than their study and it will expand their knowledge. According to Samah Ae in the article, “University education should be free. Do you agree or disagree?” she tells that researchers have demonstrated that nations who offer free education have the incredible rate of advancements and grow quicker. So, when governments bolster colleges monetarily, they will take their money back through advancement and the high life standard. For example, universities who gives scholarship to qualified student is a opportunity to earn degree even if they cannot afford colleges.

Free education can motivate students to concentrate and focus more on their studies than spending more time in their work and less time in study. In order to get a good grade student, need a lot of concentration and hard work toward their study. According to Ronald Brownstein in the article, “The Problem with Public Colleges Going Tuition-Free” he tells us that wiping out educational cost at open universities could be an incredible method for growing chance and preparing an undeniably assorted America to contend in the worldwide economy. He also states that dispensing with state funded college educational cost for most families could support all the more low-salary youngsters to seek after advanced education by flagging them since early on that they can manage the cost of it

Hence, education should be free since it is understudies appropriate to get a chance to enhance their lives. It can cost a great deal for the state but on the other hand the surprises and advantage are priceless to the society.

Determine the fallacies of weak induction in the following argument and give a brief explanation of your answer.
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

Slippery slope.

Explanation:

A fallacy is demonstrated as the flaw or error in the reasoning of the argument which makes it unsound and invalid.

Slippery slope fallacy is described as the flaw in an argument that falsely asserts a minor or small step leading to a series of major events that are quite significant to a particular consequence.

As per the description, the given argument displays 'slippery slope' fallacy as the minor event('the animal-rights activists get their foot in the door') leading to a series of events('if they sell us on the idea that animals have rights, next...insects') which would bring significant yet unintended consequences(' will lead to the decimation of our agricultural industry', 'starvation of human race will follow'). Thus, the argument fails logically to establish the appropriate cause leading to the significant effect and hence, displays <u>'slippery slope'</u> fallacy.

Answer:

1: Iran

2: The Persian Wars began in 499 BCE, when Greeks in the Persian-controlled territory rose in the Ionian Revolt. Athens, and other Greek cities, sent aid, but were quickly forced to back down after defeat in 494 BCE. Subsequently, the Persians suffered many defeats at the hands of the Greeks, led by the Athenians

3: With this double defeat, the invasion was ended, and Persian power in the Aegean severely dented. The Greeks would now move Pto the offensive, eventually expelling the Persians from Europe, the Aegean islands and Ionia before the war finally came to an end in 479 BC.

4: Following the wars, Athens emerged as the supreme naval power in Greece. It formed the Delian League, ostensibly to create a cohesive Greek network among city-states to ward off further Persian attacks.

5: The Peloponnesian War was a war fought in ancient Greece between Athens and Sparta—the two most powerful city-states in ancient Greece at the time (431 to 405 B.C.E.). This war shifted power from Athens to Sparta, making Sparta the most powerful city-state in the region. ... This eventually drew Sparta into the conflict.

6: The Peloponnesian War marked the end of the Golden Age of Greece, a change in styles of warfare, and the fall of Athens, once the strongest city-state in Greece. The balance in power in Greece was shifted when Athens was absorbed into the Spartan Empire

7: First, his father was able to unite the Greek city-states, and Alexander destroyed the Persian Empire forever. More importantly, Alexander's conquests spread Greek culture, also known as Hellenism, across his empire. ... Without Alexander's ambition, Greek ideas and culture might well have remained confined to Greece.

8: Alexander's Empire went from Greece, all the way up to Pakistan. The reason why he stopped at the outskirts of India though, is because his army was already waning, they wanted to return to their families after all this conquering.

9: He led important campaigns and expanded his empire from Greece to Persia, Babylon, Egypt and beyond, taking advantage of local political contexts as he conquered new territory
