Answer:

The Roman Empire and the Roman republic had each moments of political instability.

success of the Roman Empire

-The success of the Roman Empire has to do with the extent of their domain. They had lots of cities under their control and it was a large empire. Unlike the Roman Republic which spread was towards the italian peninsula, the Roman Empire had a large spread from the byzantine .

They are stable political structure , they were organised in terms of leadership

-Success of the Roman Republic

-They were able to manage internal political struggle e.g the struggle of orders

-The Republic lasted for centuries

Failure of the Roman Republic

Internal crisis which later led to the demise of the republic

-social unrest

-fiancial crisis to keep up with the expenses of the state

Failure of the Roman Empire

-The empire fell because the leaders failed in enforcement of certain riles which created room for instability

-The Empire could not manage its expansion and had to spend a lot on military prowess and machinery to establish its rule where ever they went. This later led to its fall.

Conclusion

-The roman Empire and Republic would have managed her leadership well in terms of Government spending

-They out to enforce the will of the state and bring every offenders to book

-They would have strengthened their military might internally and externally which will not have led to the attacks by the Barbarians.
