What it means to be a citizen is to be a participatory member of the political exercises that goes on in a country.

<h3>Who is a citizen?</h3>

A citizen is a member of a country. This person is one that has several rights in the country.

Some of these includes:

  • Right to vote
  • Right to be voted for

Only a citizen has these rights. Americans have lived up to this ideal of citizenship due to the way they participate in the electoral processes in the country.

The Americans have been influenced due to the way that they have followed the enlightened political atmosphere that the Greeks had.
