Social Studies

Answer:

D.I, II, III, and IV

Explanation:

All living things are able to respond to stimuli in the external environment. For example, living things respond to changes in light, heat, sound, and chemical and mechanical contact. The organism responds to the stimuli by means of a number of effectors, such as muscles and glands.

As humans, we detect and respond to stimulus in order to survive. For example, if you walk outside on a very sunny day, your pupils will constrict to protect your eye from taking in too much light and being damaged. Your body reacts to the stimulus (the light) to protect you.

Insect responses to stimuli can simplify rearing. For example, the positive phototaxis of scale crawlers makes them easily collected.

Like all organisms, plants detect and respond to stimuli in their environment. Their main response is to change how they grow. Plant responses are controlled by hormones. Some plant responses are tropisms.

A research group has now discovered that bacteria not only respond to chemical signals, but also possess a sense of touch. The researchers demonstrate how bacteria recognize surfaces and respond to this mechanical stimulus within seconds. This mechanism is also used by pathogens to colonize and attack their host cells

Flura [38]
Well, I've never heard of a student getting detention for calling their teacher by a nickname, that would be unnecessary and a little over dramatic, don't you think? I think if the teacher doesn't like being called said nickname then the teacher would tell the student to stop calling them by said nickname. But if the student has done it multiple times after the teacher has asked them to stop, then the student would be punished by being sent to the E.R for an hour each day depending on how long the teacher wants you in there (my school's room for students who have done something bad, like a reset room). But detention? That would just be silly.

Which one of the four RSVP characteristics is most obviously compromised when we ask students to complete an assessment activity
vitfil [10]

Answer:

Standardization.

Explanation:

Standardization is one the four RSVP characteristics which uses similar assessing format and procedure for every individual in the same manner.

For instance, if a test was to be conducted for a class, the assessing format should be equal for all. Each and every student should be administered and scored in the same manner.

This form of assessment is done with similar directions, goals, time limit, constraints, etc. Therefore, when we ask students to complete an assessment activity at home in the evening, we are using the RSVP characteristic of standardization.

Some might argue that emotional regulation is an unethical behavior. Why might someone take this position?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Emotional regulation is unequivocally moral if those who are currently struggling with emotional problems (such as depression, stress, mania, etc.) seek out emotional regulation.

What is emotional behaviour?

Emotional labor is what happens when your job demands you to act in a way that is inconsistent with your actual emotions. No matter how angry they become, a customer service representative, for instance, cannot scream at a customer making unreasonable requests.

Some reason that makes emotional regulation as an unethical behavior are-

 • The morality of emotional labor is nuanced. There are also many physical and psychological repercussions for the worker.
 • Long-term labor like this is linked to a number of unhealthy effects.
 • The risks associated with physical work are the same since businesses urge workers to practically harm their bodies in order to achieve organizational objectives.
 • The costs of emotional work are less visible but can be very high.
 • On the other hand, the majority of people regularly regulate their emotions, which is important for system to survive.
 • Society would collapse if we all simply went about constantly communicating to everybody around us every emotion we were feeling.
 • Therefore, controlling emotions is not the issue; rather, the regularity, intensity, and duration can be.
