From there moving forward Peeta says that he's in love w/katniss and she was upset at the fact that they never talked and never trained together. So they decided to fool the capitol into thinking they're star cross lovers. She doesnt like him at all but him he's a bit smitten. During the games you see The friendship of Peeta and Katniss evolve and she starts to be more vulnerable and they start to have a friendship while still fooling the capital and sharing a few kisses. Katniss is an independent person, she hunts and gets food for her family, takes care of her mother and sister because after her dad died her mother fell into a deep depression. She is hard headed and deos things her way. She is strong, witty, and bright
