The 1920's was a time of sensational economic growth and progress. Mass produced goods such as clothing, radios and cars were in abundance. The stock market boomed and most Americans benefited. But there was also economic inequality, thus the prosperity of the 1920's was unsustainable.

In your opinion, is it more difficult to be disadvantaged and have to work hard, or to have high expectations put upon you becau
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

High expectations to be put upon you.

Explanation:

I think that having high expectations to be put on you is lighter that having a disadvantage and having to work hard because depending on what it is you're doing, you probably won't have to necessarily meet the high expectations but that doesn't mean that you will be looked down upon. You will still probably have many chances to prove yourself and be enough, whereas to having a disadvantage, depending on what the disadvantage is, there will be lots of work and having that disadvantage doesn't help in any way and you probably won't have the opportunity to change.

Which statement best describes the influence his colleague's act had on Jean-François Champollion? It was a breakthrough in his
Reptile [31]

Answer:

It was a breakthrough in his research.

Explanation:

James Giblin's book "The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone" presents the perfect illustrations and descriptions of how ancient hieroglyphs were an important factor. Moreover, the book also presents an interesting overview of ancient Egyptian history for avid historians and even for children interested in archeology.

Based on the given statement, we can know that the <em>"copy of an inscription"</em> that was sent to him by a colleague became the breakthrough in his research. This piece of information helped Jean-Francois Champollion's research and became the breakthrough act that uncovered or revealed everything that's been hidden.

Thus, the correct answer is the first option.
