British Laws That Were Passed That Affected the American Colonies From 1756 through 1763, Great Britain was at war with France over control of North American territories. The war ended with Britain triumphant but heavily in debt.

From this point the Puritans in their writings they talk and draw the Native Americans as sinful people. These people believe that they should fight the natives or break a promise to their god.
