This passage is most probably excerpted from an article about Franklin in a business journal Answer A: an article about Franklin
Rudik [331]

This question is culled from the passage; "Benjamin Franklin: About An American Life". Given the content of this passage, we can deduce that it is;

  • D: A biography of Franklin intended for a general audience.

A biography is an account of the life and affairs of a person. Walter Issacson wrote a biography of Benjamin in which recounted several aspects of his life.

For example, he made the statement, "Some who see the selection of Franklin in the world today fret about a shallowness of soul and a spiritual complacency that seem to permeate a culture of materialism."

This statement shows that the writer was recounting the style and ways of Benjamin Franklin and how the American public viewed him.

Thus, we can deduce that the passage is a biography of Benjamin Franklin that is meant for a general audience.

What type of media was used to cover the assassination of John f kennedy
Anna71 [15]

The assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, took place in a radically different era. The adoption of radio in the 1920s and television in the 1950s created a nationwide audience for news. Word of the shooting in Dallas spread within minutes over both broadcast media. People not only heard about the tragedy in their homes or workplaces, but the development of affordable portable radio receivers meant that people in cars or in other outdoor areas could also listen to the latest bulletins. The broadcast audiences then verbally spread the news to other people directly or via telephone.
