In the given figure, The marked angles forms a pair of co - interior angles [ because lines l and m are parallel ]

therefore,

• $\sf12x - 8 + 104 = 180$

• $\sf12x + 96 = 180$

• $\sf12x = 180 - 96$

• $\sf12x = 84$

• $\sf x = 84 \div 12$

• $\sf x = 7$

Hence, the value of x is ~ 7
