Answer:

21 hours a day, 7 days a week, Adam takes on more responsibility than he should. The doctor and his hospital coworkers are dependent on him to provide them with everything from an x-ray to a rescue helicopter. And when one of his coworkers feels overwhelmed by the current workload, he steps in to relieve some of the pressure so that she can go home and rest. At 3am on a rainy night when he receives an emergency call from the hospital saying that someone is in need of medical attention immediately - someone he alone could understand - he quickly rushed over to the hospital and performed life-saving surgery.

How does the author develope the idea that Dickens felt very passionate about “A Christmas Carol”?
Aleksandr [31]

A Christmas Carol was written in 1843 and had a major influence on our idea of an old-fashioned English Christmas. ... Dickens's novella also provides us with a vivid picture of the extreme cold and snow found in London streets in late December as we join the Christmas ghosts who visit Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Hope this helps.
