Answer:

I think the answer is C.

Explanation:

The wizard going evil/bad would be scaring people for fun, or doing something that could be counted evil/bad. All the other answers had nothing to do with turning rotten in the end after getting too much power.

Answer:

C. The reader is first introduced to the magician having fun scaring audiences with his tricks

Explanation:

[] What is foreshadowing ?

-> Foreshadowing means a writer gives a hint of what may/will happen later in the story

[] With this definition we can guess that the answer should be C because this is the only option showing "bad" from too mch power. While A is a good contender, it says nothing about the popularity "turning him bad" so C seems like a better choice.

Have a nice day!

Why do you think tituba was the first one blamed for witchcraft
maria [59]

Tituba was the first one blamed for witchcraft because she was a slave, the lowest of the low, the bottom class, below even the poor and homeless. Not only did this make her an easy target of blame for the girls, but to make her situation worse, she had been known for having known voodoo from her home in Barbados. She had been the one to stir the pot, and to sing songs in her native tongue. It is for all these reasons that the blame of witchcraft was thrown at Tituba. I hope that this answer helped!

In what way is the setting characteristic of gothic fiction?
natima [27]

Answer:

They are usually set in victorian era town with a gothic twist on them, i.e dark dingy alleys, low light sources like gaslamps and candles, and it usually gives off a creepy vibe, as the rest of gothic cultures in literature is known for.

So can someone help. IK this isn't school related but it's just horrible and kind scary... so last night I had dream I was swimm
emmainna [20.7K]

Honestly? Sometimes dreams are just dreams. I had a dream I was on a cruise once and the attendants were vampires who were trying to suck the blood of the guests. The other day, I had a dream about my ex boyfriend, and that I was kissing one of my other guy friends in front of my ex, even though I'm not in a relationship right now (and I don't think I have a crush on my guy friend lol).

Is it possible that maybe you're afraid of your boyfriend "finding someone better" than you? Dreams aren't usually premonitions, but sometimes our unconscious fears and desires can show themselves in dreams. This dream does NOT mean that your boyfriend has found someone else, but it could mean that you're afraid of him finding a new girl. Having a conversation with him might help lessen your fears. Hope this helps!

Why does Winston doubt reality in Chapter 7, Book 1 of 1984?
dsp73

Answer: Everyone lives in misery and fear. At that point, Winston believes he may be fantasizing, believing and seeing things that are not really there, because the only official record is from The Party. Winston suspects that history to be false, but then begins to doubt himself.
