What advice/ tips would you give someone who is considering writing own song for the first time?​

Write from the heart. Use words that rhyme with that word. Just write something crazy, sad, or exciting that has happened to u before.

Write from the heart, use methods of writing (repetition, rhyme, etc) and try to make up a tune in your head to match your lyrics to. don't be afraid to use other and old songs for reference :) just be wary of copying
