How does the author develop Steve's point of view in paragraph 10 of Passage 1? After Jenny insults Steve, he is overjoyed that

everyone appreciates his invention. After Jenny speaks to Steve, he is discouraged because his invention will be rejected. After talking to Jenny, Steve is embarrassed when he realizes that his invention is not new. After sharing his invention with Jenny, Steve is encouraged by her reaction to his invention.
