"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself – nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror that paralyses needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." The weakest: depending on the readers interpretation. Roosevelt's evidence was sufficient, credible, relevant. Explain how a dictionary and a thesaurus work together to help you choose the best words
likoan [24]

A dictionary is a source you can use to find definitions of words.

A thesaurus is a source you can use to find synonyms/antonyms for certain words.

These two combined can help you choose words that are not commonly used and it can improve your vocabulary range. I personally use a thesaurus way more than a dictionary to find synonyms for common words such as “good” or “smart”

damaskus [11]

Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States. He addresses this speech, <em>"</em><em>The Man with the Muck-Rake"</em><em> </em>in 1906. In his speech he condemns dishonesty and he calls for honesty and morality. What he could have also said to strengthen his position was that <u>the attempt to make money from attacks on character is immoral.</u> Roosevelt wanted people to try to do what was right for the sake of their country.
