In this story, draw one line under each common noun and two lines under each proper noun. There are 41 common nouns and 12 prope

r nouns. Before the founding of the United States, many colonists settled along the eastern border of North America. Some colonists came to the New World to trap animals, such as beaver, otter, mink, and fox. Other men came in search of gold or land. Christians came, however, because they wanted freedom to worship God. People like the Pilgrims wanted to teach their children the principles of the Bible. They desired to obey Deuteronomy 6:4-12, which commands parents to train their children diligently. Many hardships faced these early settlers. Disease, bitter - cold winters, and a lack of food brought death to numbers of the colonists. Only with the help of the Lord did the colonies survive. Through trails the people were drawn closer to God. Through these troubles the colonists learned the true meaning of patience, thriftiness, and perseverance. They also developed a dependence on God. Some of the greatest preachers who ever lived would later preach the Gospel in these struggling colonies.

Answer:

Travel is a unique way of learning and exploring our world. Besides, the conditions to do it have improved over time, having safe options for everyone.

In the past, traveling to different parts of the world was not affordable for everyone, nowadays plane tickets are cheaper, and can fit different budgets according to what we want.

Also, cars, planes, and trains have changed their designs. As a result, they are safer than in the past. What is more, the design improvements make us arrive at our destinations in record time. Traveling faster is of high importance since it gives us more time to do other things that we like instead of wasting it on a car, plane, train or ship.

Lastly, traveling is not a waste of time. It is one of the best ways to learn about other cultures, have unique experiences, and understand our world.

The disadvantage of traveling is that it pollutes the air, but we can use public transport, share car rides or use bikes to reduce it.

For the reasons mentioned above, traveling is a unique way of learning, and the means to do it have been improving in many areas to be better every day.
