In the book "The Giver", what is Elsewhere? What is Sameness? How haves this affected this community?

Elsewhere is the place people go when they are released . sameness is when every does the same thing there is no differences throughout the community . this effected the community because , everyone is used to the same thing & they don’t know any different from everything being the same .
