XP = XZ - PZ = 7x + 1 - 4x + 1 = 3x + 2

Since XP = PZ (according to the properties of a parallelogram)

--> 3x + 2 = 4x - 1

--> x = 3

Now we simply put x = 3 back to the 3x+2 in the beginning which means XP = 3 x 3 + 2 = 11
