of biggest obstacles to improving their lives that the Native Americans faced
in the 1950s was racism</span>. Native Americans were
impeded from obtaining better standards of living as they were discriminated
against on the basis of their race. This practice greatly prejudiced the Native
Americans during this epoch.
Divide and Rule Policy
After 1858, the British continued to follow the policy of divide and rule by turning the princes against the people, province against province, caste against caste, group against group, and, above all, Hindus against Muslims.
The value of enslaved African American’s increased during and after the revolutionary war as they fought in the war.
They were part of the reason that America won the revolutionary war - they left their masters to risk their lives for a country that looked down upon them originally.
