Abdul bought 4 CDs that were each the same price. Including sales tax, he paid a total of $43.20. Of that total, $2.40 was tax.

Without tax, the total would be $40.80 ($43.20-$2.40) then just divide that by four(the number of CDs.
Therefore, each CD was $10.20.
