This quadratic should be solved using the quadratic formula.
The quadratic formula is
(-b +/- sqrt(b2 - 4ac)) / (2a) (Side note: The +/- means that you use the plus sign once, then recalculate again using the minus sign. You should get two answers this way.)
The numbers that we plug into the letters can be found from the general form of a quadratic equation
ax2 + bx + c
In your quadratic a = 3, b = 1, and c = -5. I'll let you try and solve the rest on your own. Whatever your answer is, round it off to two decimal places.
The ages of people on a jury are 41,45,39,56,48,45,42,34,47,62,35, and 58. Make a stem-and-leaf plot of the data.

I drew out one, but I have terrible drawing skills. Hope this gives an idea of how it works
Exponentially growth.
Let’s say one person starts with the flu. After the first day, there are suddenly
1 x 2 = 4 people sick
And the rest of the days just explode in magnitude:
Day 2: 1 x 2 x 2 = 8 people sick
Day 3: 1 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 16 people sick
Day 4: 1 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 32 people sick
Etc.
You can rewrite all that repeated multiplication as *exponents*, which is why we call it exponential growth.
Day 1: 1 x 2^1 = 4
Day 2: 1 x 2^2 = 8
Day 3: 1 x 2^3 = 16
And after n days, 1 x 2^n - or just 2^n - people would be sick.
Hello there! How are you today?
First, let's take a look at our numbers.
45 / 100
Both of these numbers have a 0 and a 5, which means it is divisible by 5.
Let's divide both of them by 5.
45 / 5 = 9
100 / 5 = 20
We are now left with 9/20.
This is your simplified fraction since 9 and 20 do not have any common factors.
I hope this helps!
