5/7 is bigger because you can see in the diagram. So for the first part put:

2/3 < 5/7

Make your common denominator 21 because that's what 7x3 equals so they are both factors

I'll teach you how to solve (1/5x-4+2y)+(2/5x+5-4y)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

(1/5x-4+2y)+(2/5x+5-4y)

Remove parentheses:

1/5x-4+2y + 2/5x+5-4y

Group like terms:

1/5x+2/5x+2y-4y-4+5

Add similar elements:

3/5x+2y-4y-4+5

Add similar elements:

3/5x-2y-4+5

Multiply:

3x/5-2y-4+5

Add subtract the numbers:

3x/5+1-2y

Your Answer Is 3x/5+1-2y

Number 8 please! Please!
MariettaO [177]
Well we know she filled up her car 11 times each with 14 gallons.

All we have to do is multiply 11 by 14
11 x 14 = 154

Now the question says to estimate. And our answer can be rounded down to 150 gallons.

So your answer is..
B.) 150 gallons.

Good Luck! :)

Look at the graph of f(x)=x^2+6x+10. What is the average rate of change between {1,3}?
nydimaria [60]
This equals [f(3) - f(1)] / [3-1]

= 3^2 + 6(3) + 10 - (1^2 + 6(1) + 10) / 2

= (37 - 17) / 2

Evaluate the expression.
EastWind [94]

Answer:

42

Step-by-step explanation:

We use (BODMAS) :

Brackets

Order/Index

Division

Multiplication

Addition

Subtraction

Now we do bracket first :

7(3²) = 7(9) = 63

Now we do division :

63÷3 = 21

Now we do multiplication :

2 × 21 = 42

Hope this helped and have a good day
