Personally, I would choose a bayonet in a hand to hand combat fight. Rifles are just for a far distance. If the person is close to you they can easily take it from you but then if it's a bayonet and you know how to use it then they won't take it from you unless they are some bad a** people.
Possibly the first theory regarding the state is that a God is the creator of the king which is divinely responsible for the state.
