The answer is yes. If you solve both expressions it would be 5m-10.

Answer: yes, this is because when you solve the first equation then your answer will be 5(m-2). You do this by distributing 3 to m & 2 (multiply), then you will distribute 2 to m & 2 (also multiply).

An inequality I believe so:
p should be larger than 7.0 but less than 7.8 for a normal pH balance.
Only one answer is between 7.0 and 7.8 therefore 7.3 is the answer.

Hope this helps!

What is the equation of a parabola with a focus (-2,4) and directrix y = 0?
Ronch [10]
The general form of a parabola  when using the focus and directrix is:
(x - h)² = 4p(y - k) where (h, k) is the vertex of the parabola and 'p' is distance between vertex and the focus.  We use this form due to the fact we can see the parabola will open up based on the directrix being below the focus.  Remember that the parabola will hug the focus and run away from the directrix.  The formula would be slightly different if the parabola was opening either left or right.

Given a focus of (-2,4) and a directrix of y = 0, we can assume the vertex of the parabola is exactly half way in between the focus and the directrix.  The focus and vertex with be stacked one above the other, therefore the vertex will be (-2, 2) and the value of 'p' will be 2.  We can now write the equation of the parabola:
(x + 2)² = 4(2)(y - 2)
(x + 2)² = 8(y - 2)  Now you can solve this equation for y if you prefer solving for 'y' in terms of 'x'

Whats the fraction 18/24 reduced to its lowest items?
asambeis [7]
Hello!

\sf Answer:

The fraction 18/24, reduced to its lowest terms, is: \boxed{3/4}
_____________________________

Divide both the numerator and the denominator by the GCD of 18 and 24, which is 6:

18 ÷ 6 = 3

24 ÷ 6 = 4

It's simplest form would be 3/4. This cannot be reduced further.

Which expressions are equal to 3/5 × 6
ki77a [65]

Answer:

A & C & D

Step-by-step explanation:

A & C & D both show the commutative property of multiplication and therefore is the correct answer because 3/5(6) = 18/5 and 3(6/5) is also 18/5.

3 x (6÷5) is also 18/5

(3×6)÷5 is also 18/5
