A paragraph is a key component when writing an essay as it takes up a majority of what’s on the page. For essays typically there are usually three main paragraphs; the intro, the middle “or beef” of the essay, and the conclusion. Although this usually varies based on how long the essay needs to be, the “beef” of the paper could be split up into 3 or more paragraphs if it’s a longer essay. Overall the most important part of having paragraphs in an essay is that it keep all of your thoughts in an organized structure.
