Answer:

The Barbary Wars were a conflict between the United States of America and the Berber nations of North Africa, belonging to the Ottoman Empire, located in what is now Tunisia, Algeria and Libya.

This conflict began because the Berber governments supported piracy activities in the Mediterranean Sea, which caused serious damage to American commercial interests in the region, as many of their ships were hijacked.

Answer: Those topics are the beginning for people to understand how all started in Israel

Explanation:

(a) Describe the Covenant God made with Abraham.

God makes a covenant with Abraham where he tells Abraham to leave his relatives and his father's house and go to the land that God will show him. It should be noted that Abraham was a prosperous man and lived very well with his family, but God had something else for him and chose Abraham because of how he was in his heart.

God tells Abraham that he will make him a great nation and that he will be blessed and will magnify his name. These promises God then passed on to Isaac, who is the son of Abraham, and to his grandson Jacob, then to the twelve sons of Jacob from whom the 12 tribes of Israel originated.

(b) Describe how the Hebrews got to Egypt.

The people of Israel used to go to Egypt to buy cereals when drought occurred in Canaan. Because one of the droughts was so strong, the Israelites were forced to stay and live in Egypt. In principle, the Israelites were treated well because of Joseph, who was the son of Jacob, but then Pharaoh was afraid that the Israelites would become powerful as they were growing and decided to turn them into slaves.

(c) The Pharaoh made slaves out of the Hebrew people. How did Moses lead the Hebrews out of Egypt?

Moses freed Egypt because of a mandate given by God. Moses had fled Egypt because he defended an Israelite from the abuse of an Egyptian and had to flee, then God tells him to release his people again, that he was going to be with him. Moses tells him that he is not a person of good speech and God tells him not to worry, that he will put someone to help him.

When Moses returns to where Pharaoh tells him to free the people, he refuses which leads to God unleashing the 10 plagues. Before each plague, Moses went to the Pharaoh and allowed him to avoid it and he did not. In the last plague, where God sends a plague to execute the country's firstborn, except those who have the frames painted with lamb's blood. After Pharaoh witnessed this, he asks Moses to leave with all the people of Israel.

(d) Describe the reign of the first three Kings of the Israelites.

a. Saul's reign

Saul was the first king of Israel. Saul comes from a rich family and is someone beautiful and tall. When Saul was elected as king of Israel the people were very happy. Shortly after Saul was crowned king, the Ammonites go against them, but Saul gathers a great army and ends them. Saul eventually becomes disobedient and does not listen to Samuel and this is something that God does not like. Because of Saul's disobedience and God he would not continue to have him as king of Israel.

b. David's reign

After Saul, he emerges as King David. David was a shepherd. He was beautiful blond, with blue eyes and good looks. Samuel goes to Jesse's where he has chosen one of his sons to be king. Samuel looks at the elder, but God tells him no. All the children arrive and Samuel says no until he asks if there is another person left and when Samuel sees David he says that he has been chosen by God to be king. David was considered one of the great kings of Israel. The books of Psalms are credited with his writing.

Before David being king, he was known to have finished Goliath. He slammed Goliath and killed him. David led the people of Israel to a series of victories that led him to have an extensive period as a ruler. David sinned several times and received his punishment.

c. Solomon's Reign

Solomon is the son of David and the next to the throne to be king of Israel. Solomon was pleased with God and that is why in a dream he tells Solomon what he most desires, Solomon tells God to help him govern since he does not know how to do it. God sees that Solomon asks for wisdom and not long life God grants him wisdom, and wisdom from on high and although he did not ask for riches God gave them to him. Solomon is considered the wisest king in history.

During the time that Solomon was king, God blesses the people greatly, where he supplies their needs. It makes everything good for the people. Solomon then builds a trembled God and for a long time ruled with wisdom.
