Answer:

A = 33.33

Step-by-step explanation:

P = 0.006A^2 - 0.02A + 120

*** P = 126 ***

126 = 0.006A^2 - 0.02A + 120

126 = (3/500)A^2 - (1/50)A + 120

*** multiplied with 500 on both sides ***

63000 = 3A^2 - 10A + 60000

63000 - 3A^2 + 10A - 60000 = 0

3000 - 3A^2 + 10A = 0

3A^2 - 10A - 3000 = 0

3A^2 + 90A - 100A - 3000 = 0

3A(A + 30) - 100(A + 30) = 0

(A + 30)(3A - 100) = 0

A + 30 = 0 | 3A - 100 = 0

A = -30 | 3A = 100

A = -30 | A = 100/3

Human age cannot be negative so

A = 100/3 = 33.33

Bumek [7]
It looks like it counts up by 2 when adding. so add 4, then add 6, then add 8, then add 10, etc. to find the output you simply add 2 more than the last time you added, to find the input, you subtract 2 more than last time. hope this makes sense haha.

Answer:

17.922

Step-by-step explanation:

first you plug it in

y=0.860(17) + 3.302

then u simplify

y=14.62+3.302

then add them

y=17.922

Determine two pairs of polar coordinates for the point (4, -4) with 0° ≤ θ < 360°.
umka2103 [35]
A polar coordinate is that which can be written as (r, θ) where r is the radius and θ is the angle.

The radius, r, is also the hypotenuse of the right triangle that can be formed. Hence, it can be calculated through the equation,

                   r² = x² + y²
If we are to simplify this for the r alone, we have,
                     r = sqrt (x² + y²)

Substituting the known values,
               r = sqrt ((4)² + (-4)²) = 4√2

The x and y can be related through the trigonometric function, tangent.
      tan θ = y/x
To solve for θ
   θ = tan⁻¹(y/x) = tan⁻¹(-4/4) = -45° = 315°

Hence, the polar coordinate is (4√2, 315°)
