First we have to find the price per case.

We can do this by dividing 408 by 17, because we know that 17 cases cost 408 and each case will cost the same.

408/17= 24

Now we can find the price of the five cases they want to add.

24 X 5 = 120

Now we just add that price back to original order price.

408 + 120 = 528

Solve for a -4+2(3a-5)=(1-1a)
Kobotan [32]
Distribute the two to each of the values in the parentheses.
-4 +6a-10= 1-1a

Then move like terms to the same side to simplify.
6a+1a=1+10+4
7a=15
a=15/7

Hugo is buying DVDs that cost $15 each. He has a coupon for $5 off his total purchase. Write an equation to find the c the total
Allisa [31]

Answer:

85

Step-by-step explanation:

15 times 6 is 90. This is how much money he spends on 6 DVDs if they're all $15. 90 subtracted by 5 (remember - he gets $5 off his entire purchase, not just each individual DVD) would be 85!
