A predicate of the sentence is the part that contains the action, for example what action did we do to our exams? We finished them. In the same way, what action do meteorologists do to hurricane paths? They predict them.
Many people are saying that "predict hurricane paths" is the correct answer, but it's not a simple predicate, it's a complete predicate.
