pros :
made a profit from a cash crop
free labor because they were workers using them
less deaths from harsh weather
made it easier to sell and produce way more cotton
increased work thru out america with its discovery
cons:
hard to filter
was not built the greatest
poked the fingers of workers if not careful drawing every time
was not portable
there was only the one until they figured out how to make more with little supplies
not many were assigned and kept to the job
tried being destroyed

Well it depends on the officer really but for the most part they didn't care too much for them. They viewed the Germans as superior and just like all the other allied forces they hated them.
