Which of the following sentences is correct? A. A clause is a group of related words, but a phrase is not. B. A phrase is a grou
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

C. A clause has a subject and verb, but a phrase does not.

Explanation:

Phrases and clauses are the two important parts of the sentences. A clause is the part of the sentence which includes a subject and a verb. On the other hand, a phrase is the part of the sentence which does not include a subject and a verb. The meaning of the clause is complete while the phrase does not stand alone or give complete meaning. A phrase complements the structure of the sentence. Both the clause and the phrase exists in the same line.

Is it ok to use “you” in an argumentative essay
Ray Of Light [21]

\huge\purple{Hi!}

I don't recommend using the first person pronoun in an argumentative essay. Unless your instructor suggests that you do so, omit it from the assignment because your writing will read better without it.

The author uses first person perspective to help create suspense in this passage.

Having the author experience the events along with the narrator creates a sense of calm and happiness at first, lulling the narrator (and the reader) into a sense of comfort. Then, seeing the surprise and the horror of her older face the narrator and the reader discover it together and the mood shifts instantly.
