As a biologist studying dinoflagellates (a type of protist) from local oceans, you notice that the chloroplast is surrounded by

four membranes. You also notice that the chloroplast shares many characteristics with red algae, and you find circular DNA closely related to cyanobacteria DNA. From this, you hypothesize that this lineage of dinoflagellates was the result of

From this, you hypothesize that this lineage of dinoflagellates was the result of ENDOSYMBIOSIS. It benefits both organisms.

What is endosymbiosis?

Endosymbiosis is an ecological relationship where one organism is incorporated inside another and it benefits both.

The theory of endosymbiosis states the eukaryotic cells emerged via this type of relationship.

According to the theory of endosymbiosis, prokaryotic organisms that were introduced into primitive eukaryotic cells led to the formation of chloroplasts and mitochondria.

What are the impacts of catastrophic events?
Sliva [168]

Answer:

espero que te sirva

Explanation:

Arrange the events in the correct order to describe how the magnetic field forms around Earth.
horsena [70]
The correct sequence of events is : C,D,B,A.
Iron rich magma in the earth's core heats up because of radiation and the pressure exerted by the other layers of the earth. This heat in the crust trigger convection currents in the mantle. The magma closest to the core will be hotter and therefore less dense than other layers. Being less dense the layer will rise towards the crust, eventually becoming cooler and sinking back down in a circular motion.
The continued circular motion creates electric currents which then generates the magnetic field.
