The correct sequence of events is : C,D,B,A.
Iron rich magma in the earth's core heats up because of radiation and the pressure exerted by the other layers of the earth. This heat in the crust trigger convection currents in the mantle. The magma closest to the core will be hotter and therefore less dense than other layers. Being less dense the layer will rise towards the crust, eventually becoming cooler and sinking back down in a circular motion.
The continued circular motion creates electric currents which then generates the magnetic field.

A binding protein binds to a ligand, L, with a Kd of 400 nM. How much ligand (in nM) is present when the fraction of ligand boun
mina [271]

Answer:

600nM

Explanation:

  • From Concentration of Ligand = Ykd/1 - Y
  • where Kd = 400nM.
  • fraction of ligand bound Y = 0.60

  • Plugging the values of Y and Kd;
  • Concentration = 0.6 x 400 / 1 - 0.6
  • Concentration = 600 x 10^-9
  • = 600nM

Setler79 [48]

 Most years, the populations of these insects in the tropical rainforest remain fairly constant throughout the year because in summer as the permafrost melts, pools of water which serves as a suitable breeding environment for the insects are in abundance and it helps to maintain their population.
