Answer:

The population will be 14708

Step-by-step explanation:

formula

A = P (1+r)^t

Initial population = P = 13000

Growth rate = r = 2.5% = 0.025

Number of years = t  = 5 years.

A = 13000 (1+.025)^5  = 14708

Answer:

helloo ur answer is 14708

Step-by-step explanation:

Initial population = P = 13000

Growth rate = r = 2.5% = 0.025

Number of years = t  = 5 years.

The population after 5 years is given by:
a=p(1=r)
q=13000(1+0.025^5)

Find the length of BC.<br><br><br><br>Explain how you got it, please!<br>Thanks!
Vinvika [58]

Answer:

BC = 30.73

Here,

\sf \frac{AB}{BQ}  = \frac{CD}{DQ}

so first solve for QD

\sf \hookrightarrow \frac{32}{15}  = \frac{19.2}{DQ}

\sf \hookrightarrow 32(DQ)}  =19.2(15)

\sf \hookrightarrow 32(DQ)}  =288

\sf \hookrightarrow DQ =9

  • Hence, QD = 9

Now! <u>using Pythagoras theorem,</u>

  • CD² + BD² = BC²
  • 19.2² + (9+15)² = BC²
  • BC = √368.64+576
  • BC = 30.73499634
  • BC = 30.73 ( rounded to nearest hundredth )

Who created multiplication ?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Multiplication is a very old concept in math. So old that it dates back to ancient egypt, mesopotamia, etc. Each place probably came up with the concept on their own parallel to one another, or trade helped make the concept spread. It's very likely that the actual person who came up with the idea is unknown and won't be known since the concept is so ancient. It's like asking "who came up with the alphabet" which is an equally old concept.

Side note: multiplication is repeated addition. So if we added 3+3+3+3+3 to get 15, then we can say 3*5 = 12 as a shortcut. So its likely ancient peoples were adding the same number to itself over and over, leading them to develop a shortcut notation/method to get the answer quicker.

Graph the equation y = -4x. Fill in the missing values in<br> the table.
SSSSS [86.1K]

I can't see pictures, but to graph y=-4x, you have to make -4x into slope form.

Just write -4 as a fraction, or -4/1. -4 is the rise, and 1 is the run. So start at the origin, or (0,0), and go down 4 units, then 1 unit right. So you start at (0,0), then now you should be at (1,-4). Repeat the process to make a straight line.

hope it helps
