To cite a speech, lecture, or other oral presentation, cite the speaker's name and the title of the speech (if any) in quotation marks. Follow with the title of the particular conference or meeting, the name of the organization, and the venue and its city (if the name of the city is not listed in the venue's name).

If you were offered immortality, would you take it. Why or why not.

(5-6) sentences
bixtya [17]

No, I would not take it because if you lived for the rest of the world then it would get boring and would seem like the same day over and over again. I would also not be able to see my family members that I grew up with and spent my life knowing and loving. Another reason why I wouldn't consider immportality for a choice to me is because maybe in the future things get worse and worse to live and because after all there is a lot of polution in the earth, who knows how much there will be in 100 years? I could not handle the anoyyance of just living for so many years wondering what will happen next. Or if things will change, because the same thing over and pver again is boring and not worth the power of imortality.

According to what you've read by Ngugi wa Thiong'o, what must colonizers do in order to maintain control of a colonized people?
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

 • They have to destroy the colonized people's culture, including their literature and language.

Explanation:

Ngugi wa Thiong'o says the genuine point of imperialism was to control individuals' riches; what they delivered, how they created it, how it was dispersed, the control through culture, how individuals thought of themselves, and their relationship to the world.

The wood-cutter's song - the ploughboy's, on his way in the morning, or at the noon intermission, or at sundown;
WITCHER [35]

Two elements of structure, this portion of the poem contains repeated words and starts most lines with the same word. Thus option "A" and "C" is correct.

What is the theme of The woodcutter's song?

This poem written by Walt Whitman shows the author "listening to America sing." The sound of America is that of all those workers who make it up.

The poem is quite descriptive and shows us each type of work and the sound that each worker makes while doing it.

The way this poem is written is by using repeated words and starting most lines with the same word: "the". The structure and words used in each line are the same or very similar, only the type of work changes and who does it.

Thus option "A" and "C" is correct.
