write two or four sentences that expose the pros and cons of shorter and longer term for your school legislature.
zavuch27 [327]

A good side of the short term is that those who

are representing will have more focus on the work they are responsible for and

will not lose motivation. Another aspect I that with the shorter term more

people will have the opportunity to participate in administration bringing out

new ideas and innovations competing and trying to show the best in the time. A

negative side is that sometime someone can commit mistake which they want to

rectify but cannot due to short term which can be a plus point for long term.

Marianna [84]

The civil war which erupted as a result of American intervention stifled Guatemala’s economic growth, put an end to its political independence, and allowed a corrupt ruling class to dominate the country for its own political and economic gain. Furthermore, the Guatemalan. And all under the auspices of maintaining ‘freedom’ in the world. Faith in socialism, capitalism or communism prevents the rise of fascism because it combines aspects of these things but is different from them all. The idea that democracy is failing can help it rise. Hitler exploited the instability of Germany's democracy and the failure of the coalition governments to push for total power, presenting the idea that Germany needed a 'firm hand' for 4 years to get back on steady footing.
