Visually, option A feels like the most right answer. (It IS the right answer, by the way).
One common way to see is to add a slight pause wherever you see a colon. For option B, you wouldn't want to add a pause after "there"; it doesn't seem and feel right (when speaking). The same goes for Option C and D; it doesn't seem right when put to use.
