The searcher in the Pythian section was Apollo.

Highlights of the Pythian Section

The Pythian section of the Homeric Hymn tells of how Apollo set out on a journey to Greece. There he sought a proper place to situate his oracle known as the Crisa.

He finally settled at Mount Parnassus. There he killed a dragon known as Pytho which caused the site to be known as Pytho and the epithet was named "Pythian."

Answer:

B. Grendel's destiny will be alienation and isolation

Explanation:

From the earliest starting point of his story, we can see that Grendel is now entirely tired of language. Possibly, it is the impact of outrageous separation he is continually portraying a mind-blowing narrative to himself (and to us) and scripting scenes carried on by others. The language here is almost Grendel sees and makes the world. He has a solipsistic perspective on the real world: nothing exists outside himself except if he sees it (or so he thinks).

In the 16th century, the Catholic Church had a practice of selling indulgences. An indulgence was a payment to the church that paid for you to be exempted from certain sins. Sometimes they could pay for a loved one to spend less time in purgatory. Luther’s thesis 82 was aimed at the Pope, asking why the Pope doesn’t deliver ALL souls at the same time out of purgatory to relieve their misery. Is he only saving a few souls at a time so that he can get more money for the Catholic Church, thus exposing evil practices of the Catholic Church at that time.

3. What was one of Headlee's most valuable lessons in listening? What kind of appeal does
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

One of the most valuable lessons is to breathe before responding to a message heard in a conversation. In this lesson she makes a logical appeal, showing that when you breathe you give your brain time to understand the message and respond to the height, thus creating a quality conversation.

Explanation:

Celeste Headlee has shown how we human beings have diminished our ability to be good listeners and to establish good communication and quality conversation with each other. She says that this unavailability and haste to listen is not satisfactory, does not stimulate the brain and does not allow learning that only communication is capable of establishing. Technology has contributed to making this problem worse, making conversations automatic, fast and without satisfactory interaction.

Headlee says that we have to learn to listen in order to learn to talk and the best way we can do that is to enter into conversations without haste, listening to what is said and breathing before answering. This breath promotes reasoning, the interpretation of the message received and the elaboration of a message to the height, which will be received in the same way. That way a good conversation is conducted.
