Let the cost of senior citizen ticket be x and cost of child ticket be y

ATQ,

\sf \qquad 3x + y = 38 \\ \sf \qquad3x + 2y = 52

<h3>Solve the equation for x and y</h3>

\sf \qquad \: 3x + y = 38 \\ \sf \qquad - 3x - 2y = - 52

\sf \qquad y = 14

Substitute the given value of y into the first equation

\sf \qquad3x + 14 = 38

\sf \qquad3x = 38 - 14

\sf \qquad3x = 24

\sf \qquad \: x = 8

<em>Therefore, The cost of 1 senior citizen ticket is </em><em>8</em><em> </em><em>d</em><em>o</em><em>l</em><em>l</em><em>a</em><em>r</em><em> and cost of 1 child ticket is 14</em><em> </em><em>d</em><em>o</em><em>l</em><em>l</em><em>a</em><em>r</em><em>...~</em>
