A single change or alteration in the nucleotide base of the genetic material of the cell is called a point mutation. It can be a deletion, addition or inversion of a single nucleotide base.

In the following, the mutations that occurred are 1. C and 2. B.

How the mutation can be explained?

 • Silent mutation occurs in a single base of the triplet codons of the bases but the alterations do not cause an observable effect and they remain as a neutral alteration. They do not affect the function of the protein. Thus, the glycine to glycine is a silent mutation.

 • Non-sense mutations are caused when the single change in the nucleotide base results in the formation of the stop codon. Thus, lysine to stop codon is a nonsense mutation.

Therefore, silent and nonsense mutations are the correct options.

Sustancia formada por ADN y proteínas histonas que integra los cromosomas
Sauron [17]

Answer:

La cromatina

Explanation:

What two types of evolutionary evidence, taken together, provide strong evidence for when extinct species most likely diverged f
Black_prince [1.1K]

Homologous and analogous structures are two types of evolutionary evidence, taken together, provide strong evidence for when extinct species most likely diverged from common ancestors, relative to other events happening on Earth.

Several types of evidence support the theory of evolution: If two or more species share a unique physical feature, such as a complex bone structure or body plan, they can all inherit this property from the common ancestor. Physical traits shared through evolutionary history (common ancestor) they say they are homologous. Not all physical properties that look similar are signs of common ancestry. Some physical similarities instead are analogous: they evolved independently in different organisms because organisms lived in similar environments or experienced similar selective pressures.

What moves through the community from one trophic level to another as organisms feed on one another?
TEA [102]

Energy moves from one trophic level to another as organisms feed on one another.

Explanation:

Energy flows from one trophic level to another in a food chain. according to the ten percent law, only ten percent of the total energy passes onto the next trophic level. While studying the energy flow model two aspects should be taken under consideration. Firstly, the flow of energy is unidirectional and passes on from autotrophs to primary consumer and then secontary, tertiary so on. Secondly the amount of energy decreases at succesive trophic level.
