Answer:

Global warming is the long-term heating of Earth’s climate system observed since the pre-industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth’s atmosphere. The term is frequently used interchangeably with the term climate change, though the latter refers to both human- and naturally produced warming and the effects it has on our planet. It is most commonly measured as the average increase in Earth’s global surface temperature.

HERE ARE SOME EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING

More frequent and severe weather. Higher temperatures are worsening many types of disasters, including storms, heat waves, floods, and droughts

Higher death rates

Dirtier air

Higher wildlife extinction rates.

More acidic oceans

Higher sea levels

For the first one, the Canadian government heavily discriminated against the Indigenous people. They were thrown off their own land, indigenous children were forced into residential schools and abused and striped of their culture and language, and they were not allowed to vote. A lot of the time, Canadian officials would get Indigenous men dr*unk and get them to sign away their land, belongings, and their status as an indigenous person. At one point in time, to be legally allowed to vote, indigenous people had to sign away their status as an indigenous person. Indigenous women have been kidnapped, r*aped, and m*urdered more than anyone else in canada. Plus, the residential schools caused dr*ug a*buse, al*lcoholism, m*ental ill*ness, s*uicide, and it has created ab*users and people who walk out on their families. The indigenous have always been treated poorly by the canadian government and canadian people.
