Answer: For instance, if we cut the pie into 6 equal slices, then 1 slice represents 1/6 of the whole pie. In the same way, if we break 1 into 6 equal parts, 1 part represents 1/6 of 1. Unit fractions are 1 part of the number 1. Notice that the more pieces you slice the pie into, the smaller the pieces of pie become.

Given 1+ cos x/ sin x + sin x/1+ cos x= 4, find a numerical value of one trigonometric function of x.
laiz [17]

Answer:

The numerical value of the trigonometric function is 30 °

Step-by-step explanation:

Given trigonometric function as :

\frac{1 + cos x}{sin x} + \frac{sin x}{1 + cos x} = 4

or, Taking LCM we get

\frac{(1+cosx)^{2}+sin^{2}x}{(sinx)\times (1+cosx)} = 4

Or,  ( 1 + cos x )² + sin² x = 4 × ( sin x ) × ( 1 + cos x )

1 + cos² x + 2 cox + sin² x = 4 sin x + 4 sin x × cos x

or, (  cos² x + sin² x ) + ( 1 + 2 cos x ) = 4 sin x ( 1 + cos x )

 ∵  cos² x + sin² x = 1

or,  1 + 1 + 2 cos x  = 4 sin x ( 1 + cos x )

or, 2 + 2 cos x = 4 sin x ( 1 + cos x )

or, 2 ( 1 + cos x ) = 4 sin x ( 1 + cos x )

Or, \frac{2 ( 1+ cos x )}{4 ( 1 + cos x )} = sin x

Or, sin x = \frac{1}{2}

∴  x = sin^{-1}\frac{1}{2}

 ∵ sin 30 ° = \frac{1}{2}

I.e  x = 30 °

Hence The numerical value of the trigonometric function is 30 °  answer

Answer:

gcd(20a,14b)

Step-by-step explanation:

add 7a and 3a, and add 5b to 2b,

you're left with 10a + 7b, times two to both, and you have

20a + 14b

so the answer is gcd(20a,14b)

i have no clue i haven't done this before so thats what i'm guessing happens? good luck :,)

scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

115 in²

Step-by-step explanation:

SA = Area of triangular surfaces + area of the square base

SA= 2bh + b²

SA = 2(5)(9)+5²
