You have a job that you have been working very hard at because you are saving up to buy a car. Your best friend approaches you a
nd asks if you would like to go away with his/her family over Spring break. You want to go, however, your parents tell you that you would have to pay your own airfare and spending money. This would put a significant dent in your car savings. What will you do?
I would debate the pros and cons of going on the trip and spending the money, and decide if the trip was worth the money taking away from the car savings.
In short, decide what's more important to you! The trip with your best friend? Or saving money to reach the goal you've been working hard for.
